What nationality models are currently in trend on your market now?

Oh it’s a mix, our clients are more about personalities, individuality and having something special. But models from Brazil, Scandinavia, America, Europe, UK, Asia, Australia, just to name a few — they all work well!

Is there a concept of trending face?

Lots of clients are asking for a face with something special — freckles, a good smile, striking eyes. And of course a classically beautiful, well-structured face, with great skin always works well across the world!

What do you pay attention to when scouting models? Does your agency have a favorite type?

There isn’t one thing, it’s more about a vibe. What is their energy like, do they naturally have good skin (this isn’t a must, but it is a good positive) and what is their personality like. Our agency, specifically, is known for having a «cool» board, with more of a street feel and lots of personality!

What has surprised/disappointed you recently in the fashion world?

How there are a lot of models who clients only book for one season, and then they move on. Of course there are a handful that have longevity, but everyone is always looking for the next group of new faces, every season. I love that there are no rules to editorial / commercial models anymore, everything is crossing over and it makes it more exciting. 10 years ago you were either an editorial or a commercial model, now the lines are blurred and a model can go between both.
