Liza Egorova (Filippova): important things that should not be forgotten on an international contract

Worked in New York, Milan, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Japan, Greece, Spain and Paris for Vanity Fair, Bazaar, Cosmopolitan, Mary Clair, Elle, Lee Jeans, Armani Jeans, Betsy Johnson, Tom Brown and others.

You should always be in contact with your booker, communicate politely with him, learn about the details of the casting, about the changes and be interested in what can be improved to successfully pass the castings. Treat the client with respect, even if they did not give you job. The same client can take you on another project or advise a friend of the photographer/stylist.

Look good at castings: dress up to fit, light makeup, clean hair. Don’t forget to wear heels and smile sweetly. Always be in shape, and if you get better, as quickly as possible to bring yourself to the model measurements.

Do not write directly to the client. Any conversations with clients on the topic of fees, personal contacts, and other things are a violation of the contract. All problems should be solved first with the local agency, if it does not work – write to the mother agency.

Don’t go to clubs. Your reputation has to be more important than the parties if you want to achieve something in modeling.

Carefully read the terms of the contract and comply with them. Changes in appearance, measurements, bad posing, fashion shows, English – not empty words. For violation of the contract, they are really fined and are unlikely to want to work with you again.

You can’t upload backstage photos before the magazines or the official release of the shoot. Always check with the client about this. Follow your social networks: do not post photos where you drink alcohol, smoke, eat fast food.

Be punctual, don’t be late. Warn if you’re late and try to give an exact time when you can get there.
