Katerina Mironova, founder of Model’s Post Magazine: “Retired models are back in fashion”

At the beginning of summer, I had the opportunity to shake off the old days and go out on the catwalk again. As part of the presentation of the book by Irina Marchenko, our guest from the cover. Again, those same indescribable feelings: excitement behind the scenes, the thrill of the show, the euphoria after the event. The main news of the summer in modelling is the increased demand for older models 35-40+. Agencies are asking “retired models” to send their current measurements and photos to the offices. So I’m off to pump up my figure and do new tests!

In the meantime, I present to you a new selection of the most relevant and useful posts. Here are tips for new faces, and the experience of established models, and discussions with parent agencies on contract issues, and, of course, a lot of beauty and bright colours in the Fashion and Location sections. And, as I said earlier, I am glad to introduce you to a guest who is especially dear to me on the cover – the ex-director of my first and only local modelling agency in Siberia, where my difficult but very interesting path as a model began; the author of the book “The History of One Agency” – Irina Marchenko.
