When I worked in foreign agencies, I was a blonde, but mostly brunettes were invited to castings for advertising and films. One day I came with my neighbour and we waited in the waiting room to go shopping together later. By chance, at this time, the producer of the company was coming down the stairs and noticed me, offering me one of the main roles in a video. Since then, I have more than a dozen commercials under my belt.
Why am I writing this? Acting skills and working with emotions in modelling are very important. One model complained to me that she is often called to TV advertising auditions (which, by the way, are well paid), but she is not an actress and has appeared in magazines. So, as practice has shown, magazines are also more willing to take models who are able to work with their emotions and mood in the frame than those who shoot with the same facial expression.
