How did you start working in modelling?
In 2022, I successfully passed the casting at the Fly Production agency in Cheboksary. They were recruiting a group to study modelling. After several months of training and participating in film, the director offered me to audition at the mother agency Vea Models, with whom I eventually signed a contract. Then followed online castings in South Korea, China, London, Milan and Turkey. As a result, my first working trip took place in Seoul.
Becoming a top model – luck or hard work?
Definitely a lot of work with a few drops of luck.
After what can we say that you have succeeded in modelling?
I suppose the concept of “succeeded” is quite subjective. For me, personally, I felt like a professional model after signing two successful contracts in a row. Of course, there is always room for growth and development.
What has surprised or angered you in the fashion world recently?
The recent Iris Van Herpen show in Paris was amazingly beautiful.
The most memorable work – for whom, where?
I remember almost all of my work. Among the most memorable:
• A show on the beach, filmed with a drone – Valleyouth in Qingdao.
• Shooting in a hotel stylised as an 18th-century palace – Birth of Royal Child in Chengdu.
• A show with about 90 models – BAPE in Shanghai.
• A show on the 100th floor of a skyscraper with a glass floor and walls – Dion Lee at the Shanghai World Financial Centre.
You would never take part in a shoot with…
…involving life-threatening stunts or animals.
