Worked in New York, Milan, Paris, Barcelona, Munich, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia. Now lives and works in the Philippines.
My first trip was to Malaysia. There you could do model book and work for famous magazines. However, I had to get along with three or four neighbours and it was not easy. Most of all I remember Milan, New York, and Singapore… good conditions for models and a stylish atmosphere. Not forgetting China with its filming and special culture.
On one of my modelling trips in the Philippines I met a guy. He worked as a model whilst studying at the local Aviation Institute. He is a citizen of the Philippines and is Spanish- Australian by nationality. A few years later we got married and we had a daughter. She is now my main focus, although I continue to work as a model while studying photography.
Modelling in the Philippines is relaxed. Here you have a chauffeur who will take you to work and a handler who will solve all issues. Excellent apartments with a swimming pool and a gym are provided. Work – mainly campaigns, shows TVC. Also, there is the country’s atmosphere: beautiful beaches with white sand and azure water, friendly people, and great weather.
The advice I would give now to my younger self would to be confident in myself and to improve my English. In principle, I would not change a thing! Perhaps I would travel to countries where I have not yet worked. I really want to work in Japan, Korea, and Great Britain.
