As a model, she worked with various agencies in Tokyo, Shanghai, Bangkok, Seoul and Hong Kong. Filmed for Pantene, Kodak, Mazda. Taught posing at modelling schools in Russia. Participated as a photographer at the XX Moscow International Film Festival, where the main guest star was Brad Pitt.
-What are your memories of modelling? Are you still friends with the girls from your travels?
– The memories are the coolest, where every day is filled with interesting places, jobs, meetings, castings. When I started, there wasn’t Instagram*, the lights in the studios were tested for polaroids and the tests were filmed. Seeing your photos after the end of the contract was always a matter of chance, so most of the work remained the focus of your trip. It was always nice to receive photos from your girlfriends from the agency and view the shopping centres hung with your portraits.
We keep in touch with the girls, although many live in opposite parts of the continent. Vlada Roslyakova and I sat at neighbouring desks on Russian language courses and attended the Pedagogical University. I asked her how tall she was (which angered her, as she later told me). I showed it to our manager. We still keep in touch with Vlada and every time she visits we go to a horror expedition to squeal with other models.
— What is your project “Breakfast with a Photographer” about?
— This idea arose during the crisis period of this year when certain social networks were blocked. “Breakfast” is dedicated to useful topics where we meet with various experts: psychologists, stylists, photographers, marketers, bloggers. We get to know each other, communicate and motivate each other, create an interesting creative environment for ourselves, ready to act and not give up, to inspire each other.
— What do you want to achieve in your field, with whom do you want to work?
— Now my main direction is content shooting. Recently, I have been actively studying non-verbal communications, with which we communicate 93% of information about ourselves. And since people often come to me with a request to create a visual to increase the cost of services aimed at more expensive clients, it became very important for me to study what and how we broadcast through photos and videos.
In the near future, we plan to conduct several master classes with a psychologist on the topic of self-esteem, its formation, development and transmission to others.
